Are You Living Your Dream?

 CAREER SUCCESS GUIDE

February 2010
Dear Jsidufh,

In my last email, I asked the question:  "Are you ready to take certain risks this year?"  If you've
been confined to your house due to all of the snow, this may be a good time to block out a hour
or two to continue evaluating your plans for this year.  Even more importantly, you should
re-consider your longer term dreams and aspirations.

Additionally, in last month's email, we tracked my father's travels from  NJ to
Florida in search of warm weather.  Now that the Superbowl is over, he's
enjoying freshwater fishing and days filled with sunshine.  He sent his kids
an email recently encouraging us to continue to work towards the dreams
we've set.  And, being my father, he had to add a comment that he'll think
about us shoveling snow while he's sitting on the beach. Nice touch.

Are you ready to undertake the goals you've set for yourself?  This month's
article provides information about proven methods to achieve, not only
career plans, but also health-related goals. It's a new year and many of us
are trying to lose weight and get back in shape (where did our shape go?).  Hopefully this
article gets you moving towards achieving any and all types of personal goals.
In the meantime, best wishes to your career success!

Share Your Story Do you know how to live each day based on a
clear vision or goal?
In my opinion, it's important to consistently assess your short term goals during difficult times.

However, your career goal - - or the vision you have created for your work life - - should still
serve as a guidepost for your travels.  Your career vision should continue to provide the
direction
towards your career success.

"Are you trying to achieve something great?  Do people doubt you'll ever reach it?

If the answer is yes to both questions, then you're on the right path."
