Happy Holidays Isodifj,

I hope you have some good down time planned with friends and/or family this holiday season. My friend Annika visited me from Boston recently, and as part of aNew Year's resolution for myself, I am spending more time with friends and family. Connecting with them helps me relax and stay grounded. Here's a picture while we were out for drinks at a hotel in Buckhead. It reminds me also that the more we give, the more we receive.

12 Days of Job Search (what your coach would say to you!) - In This Issue:

1) Our Career Corner article gives you the top 12 tips you need to follow to execute a successful job search in the New Year, rock on!

2) Giving to someone else: I was very happy to receive this quote from a client's sister who gave her the gift of coaching a few months ago. "I purchased Hallie's coaching services for my sister and we both have been very happy with the results. Hallie, I can't thank you enough. I am happy to see her getting on the right track and seeking out opportunities. I have wanted this for her for a long time. A sincere thank you for the critical part you are playing in that." We do offer coaching gift certificates; you can read more about them here. It's a gift that really is priceless. My mother paid for a coach when I was lost - I found my passion for coaching through working with her and am forever grateful to my mom for that.

3) Leverage LinkedIn in the New Year: We have a new, very affordable LinkedIn profile review service I wanted to mention to you. It includes an assessment and review of your LinkedIn profile for greater networking success. Read more here.

Client Success Story to Help You Create Your Own:

I was so glad to hear from one of my career coaching clients who, through our coaching, decided she wanted to get into B2B sales. This was a career shift for her so it took some time, but she is now on her way by staying on course and sticking to what she wants long term. Don't give up and settle, even if pursuing your dream job takes a long time. Just because it takes time to identify and to land that job doesn't mean you are on the wrong path, or that you should give up. It is naturally a long process. Be patient with yourself and with the process. Even if it takes years and a few steps along the way. Remain focused, you will get there.
