(Or as one of our university partners calls it, the Great Change Up.) It almost seems like looking for a new job is the popular thing to do; leaving even those who are relatively happy in their careers wondering, should I look just for the heck of it? Our advice is, feel free to look around but be smart about it. Identify keywords relevant to your skills and experience that you can plug into job boards to see what's out there. Maybe there's a job at your dream organization that has just opened up. It's possible you can ask for more money if you move to a competitor. All of these things are worth considering, but don't just jump for the heck of it.
