Please stay safe.   We have noticed several trends, including the extreme heat, this summer:  People jumped jobs for satisfaction and salary.  Employers desperate for employees may have offered things they couldn't follow through with.  Some of them hired people who weren't fully qualified for the job.  Both sides ghosted each other in some cases.  More people than ever went on vacation this summer. We had one university partner tell us she was having trouble getting anything done on campus this summer. People just weren't around! If you have asked yourself in the past few months: Will I be happier somewhere else? Should I look around just because everyone else is making a job change? Do I need to jump to get the salary I want? Am I really qualified for this job? Should I be worried about getting laid off because of a possible recession?
