Revitalize Your Job Searching

 CAREER SUCCESS GUIDE

September 2009
Dear Jsidufh,

The summer is coming to an end, and after family reunions, beach outings, and lots of rainy
weekends (at least that was the case here in NJ), fall may prove to be a peaceful season.
However, if you're currently in the midst of a job search, this is the season to re-evaluate your
plans and track what outcomes you have achieved.

One of the most important activities to evaluate is your networking plan.  Have you created
an online presence?  Are you taking active steps to uncover hidden jobs through your network?
If your job search plan is designed for continuous improvements, then you're more likely to
stay focused on the right goals regardless of the season.

If you need professional resume writing services, please note that I am offering a 20% discount
for all job seekers (offer expires on September 15).

Are You Living Your Success Story?  Do you know how to live each day based on a
clear vision or goal?  I've spoken with a number of people who believe that, due to the
recession and high unemployment rates, it's necessary to change their career direction
and vision.  In my opinion, it's important to consistently assess your short term goals during
difficult times;  however, your career goal - - or the vision you have created for your work life
- - should still serve as a guidepost for your travels.  Your career vision should continue to
provide the direction towards your career success.
